Programme Manager – Data centres – Stuttgart, Nuremburg & Munich Our client is a dynamic, fast growing data centre developer. They have grown rapidly, mainly through acquisitions, over the last few years and now operate 60 different sites across Europe. The organisation is still heavily in acquisition mode and are about to add a further 10-sites to their portfolio with advanced talks for others that may come to fruition over the next 12-18 months Our client is about to embark on a series of upgrades, improvements, refurbishment and extensions to their existing German sites, and they are now seeking a Programme Manager to join the team. Provide end-to-end leadership across all three data centre projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, delivery strategies, and client expectations. Set programme-wide goals, KPIs, and governance structures to drive consistency and efficiency.
• Stakeholder and Client Management:
Act as the primary interface between the client, design teams, contractors, and internal leadership. Lead executive-level reporting, ensure transparency across all stakeholders, and resolve high-level escalations to maintain confidence and momentum.
• Project Integration and Resource Coordination:
Coordinate delivery teams, contractors, and consultants across the three locations to ensure synchronized execution. Optimize allocation of resources and apply consistent standards across planning, risk management, procurement, and QA/QC functions.
• Schedule, Budget, and Risk Management:
Own the master programme schedule and budget, tracking each site's progress and integrating individual project timelines. Identify and mitigate programme-level risks, dependencies, and constraints to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Governance, Compliance, and Performance Monitoring:
Establish and enforce programme-wide controls in line with local German regulations and international best practices. Implement reporting tools and dashboards to monitor site-level and programme-level performance, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance are upheld throughout.
Must reside in/within travelling distance of one of the locations mentioned above
Must be German speaking
Must have 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
€500 per day + Hybrid working
